CUE CARD FOR MC

Hallo guys :D
Well, today I will share to you about small thing related to MC field, but has a very big role on MCing event. Okay, I will introduce you to Cue Card. Yess, this small thing really worth when you are MC-ing something.
This cue card contain your whole agenda of your event. But remember, do not put all the words inside your cue card, just put the main event and you can improve thw words by using your own creativity.
On cue card also you have to put the name of somebody completely and the title also (if there is any). This is also really important to put the slogan of the event inside your cue card, because you might mention it more than once. On cue card also you can write some sponsors or media partners of your event. Cue card also will be very good if you write it in 1 side only. It will looks perfect. You can also use pen color to highlight the most important thing in your event.
It is very important to always has communication between Mc and other comittee, perhaps you still remember when the MC of Miss Universe 2015 were wrong to announce the winner of Miss Universe 2015. It is important to put the detail information inside your cue card.

MY INSPIRATION ON HOSTING EVENT

Hallo guys! :D
How are you? Well, today I will share to you about my favorite host. I did not know when the exact time I found her. Something that I know I found her on youtube. Well, she is female, her name is Chelsea Briggs. She is an entertanment host and producer, known as the face of Hollywire TV and also executive producer (2009-2014). She has done guest hosting for MTV News (2013), VHI (](2012), Clevver Media (2014) & Ovation TV (2013). She received her B.A.A. at Central Michigan University and resides in Los Angeles, California.

First time I saw her was when I watched Hollywire on youtube. I directly love the way she delivers the news. Rilax, but could make it interesting, moreover when she delivers program named WTF. I love her vocal. She is amazing for me as a host.
This video shows when she is together with One Direction. OMG! She is very lucky!

She gives me inspirations to always maintain and improve my skill on hosting an event. She is really amazing host for me. She has slogan "Well, I am you host" and I think it is unique.

PROPER DRESS FOR YOUR EXTRAORDINARY PERFORMANCE

On the previous post, I have posted about make up for the MC, well, today I will share about how dress could make you look greater in the stage.

As an MC, it is really important to concern about its performance, make up, shoes and also dress. Those things could make your performance greater in front of the audience.

The taste of fashion of MC could be used here. If you have formal event, you can combine your dress with blazer which can make you look formal.

Those pictures are really proper if you have formal event, but when you have an informal event, you can use a bit casual dress, depends on the event that you have.

Well, I have an important tips for MC, if you are already got stunning dress, never break your performance by using flat shoes. It is better for MC using high heel or wedges.

THE IMPORTANCE OF MAKE UP ON PUBLIC SPEAKING

Well, hallo again guys :D
today I will share to you how make up can make your performance when delivering Public Speaking becomes really important.
To make it more spescific I will take sample from MC field (Because I am majoring that hahaha)
As an MC it is really important to perform well in front of the audience, not only in formal event but also in informal event. Gaining well performance can be supported by having a good look from your face. Yeah, your make up! You need to make up yourself.

As an MC, you need to pleased the audience not only by delivering good public speaking, but also with good looking performance. The benefit of using make up is a lot.
By using make up you will look more gorgeous and not having pale skin.
By using make up also you can boost your confidence.
Well guys, about make up for MC, your make up should has relevance with your event's theme. You need to consider which make up that proper.
Oops! For MC male, you can also still looks stunning by using make up. Do not worry, Mc's male make up is different with MC's female, he just needs foundation and a powder only.
I have tips for MC, if you do not have skill about make up. You can have your personal make up artist. But do not forget to always keep trying to have that skill by learning. Sometime it is really needed to make up by our own self. For MC also, it is really needed for having some make up tools, complete one is better. For me, the most incredible tools is eye lashes :D I really obsesse with that thing, it makes my eyes brighter.

Becoming A Host Needs Manners

Television program in Indonesia has many kinds of programs. The programs will be more popular if it leads by controversial artist, moreover if it is aired on prime time. One program who has been airing for many years is Dahsyat on RCTI. I am really interested with the latest news about one dangdut singer which has branding with her Goyang Itik, yes, she is Zaskia Gotic. She also made a group with others dangdut singers, Julia Perez and Ayu Ting-ting. They combined become Cecepy. Their group become more popular because one of the tv station in Indonesia made a program of them called, Cecepy. 

In one chance, the group invited by Dahsyat program. On one session, there was a game for them. The hosts of Dahsyat program leaded the game and they gave some questions about Indonesia. Denny Cagur, one of host Dahsyat asked about the meaning of Pancasila, but something that made people surpised was about Zaskia's answer, her answer was really "nyeleneh" and made her got into something trouble with Indonesian Law. 

I want to give my opinion here, in my deconstructive analysis, the hosts of Dahsyat also needed to be advised because of this case. Why? As hosts, they are responsible for handling the event. When Zaskia, in this case who never got a higher education asked by those questions about nationality, in my opinion, the hosts should control her and did not make it as jokes. We know that most of the hosts Dahsyat are comedian, but they should be more concern to their manner, in this case is about speaking and how they lead the program. About speaking, as we know, sometimes they just mocked each other and they spoke non sense, sorry to say --' and yeah they should be more concern to their manner and it will make them better in handling the program.

YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR IN GLOBAL WORLD 2016

Ima Cantik is greeting you again here on my blog.

Well, after my previous post about a chance that I got from one speaker who presented on Young Entrepreneur In Global World 2016. Now, I will try to share to you about each presenters on how they were presenting their presentation.

Since my interest on public speaking, mostly I love how they presented the presentation. But, since I am the one who like public speaking. Then my interest is direct to Mr. Yohanes Yudha Barata or Pakdhe Yudha, the first presenter who talked about Managing Business Hotel.

In my opinion, he has a really good public speaking. It proved that most of the audiences were glad when he had the presentation. His branding is with slogan “Cucok” and It succeeded to make audiences laughed when he mentioned that slogan. His slogan by saying “pakdhe” also became his branding on the presentation, most of the audiences were excited with his presentation. Since I was an MC, I also learnt many things from him. That was about branding, for becoming an entertainer I think it is really important to have that branding. For example, I choose Aziz Gagap, he known by people that he is a “gagap”man, although in a real life he is a normal person and even can speak fast like the common people do. Another example is from a sexy presenters, and one of my favorite TV host. She is Farah Quinn, a sexy chef, when she had a program on one TV show, she often said the slogan “So Yummy” in every food that she ate or she cooked. This is just like Pakdhe Yudha shown to us when he had the event. He also shared to me after the event, about his experiences on Public Speaking field. One of his experiences that made me surprised is when He applied for the MC’s audition that held by one of big company, named Calvin Klein. Something that made me surprise is the company only choose the one who were never become an MC, still the innocent one to become the MC, and for all the participants who joined that and had a lot of experience in MC field, they rejected by Calvin Klein. I tried to analyze from that, and I think the reason why they only accepted the innocent one because they wanted to create that person based on what they want as a big company. Pakdhe Yudha also said that it is a plus point for MC if she/he can speak and fluent in English. He said that I am lucky that I can speak in English and have the skill of Mcing something.

Young Entrepreneur In Global World 2016

Ima is back for sharing to you about Public Speaking.
Well, today I will share about my experience on Saturday at Young Entrepreneur In Global World 2016.
I mc-ing on that event and I was really excited to be there and Mc-ing that event.
I partnered with my friend, Robi.
We had 3 speakers on that event, they are expertise in blogging, public speaking and also creating technology. They are Mbak MUna, Pakdhe Yudha and Mas Andi.
I got many knowledge from their presentation, and fortunately I got a good offer from Pakdhe Yudha because Pak Arif, my lecturer asked him how to make me more popular on MC's field. Then Pakdhe Yudha replied that it will be easier for him to promote me because MC who can speak in English is rare in Java, especially in Central Java.
I was so glad anyway, and I just want to dig deeper for my skill on MC-ing.
Tips for you when you want to be recognize is don't ever feel shy when we meet a new person, they might bring luck for us, someday. Just try to make friend.

The Winning Of Me On MC's Competition

Today I will share to you about my experience when I was a winner of Piala Rektor UNNES 2015
Well, It started with the information from my partner of MC, Mr.Aan. He told me that there would be an MC competition in our beloved campus. Then, we both tried to apply it to Humas UNNES, the comittee of the event. On this piala Rektor there would be three round, they were qualification, semi final plus quarantine and the final.
On the first round, I got surprised because the participants not only from Undergraduate Program but also from Magister Degree and most of them also has their own "jam terbang" as an MC. I got nervous at first but then I could feel enjoy because the judge also looked so beautiful and expert in MC, it made my confidence boosted. I presented example of MC from Comparative Study 2015 between UNNES-UNS, I was using English at that time, made feel proud becoming an English Department student. After my performance, I got many lessons from the judges also got some praises from them also the participants, they directly shook my hand and said "Congratulation!" although the announcement of the winner had not announced yet. Then, we came to the announcement, judges announced it and Tadaa... I entered the semi finalist and would have a quarantine. By the way, on the qualification round, I was helped by my sister to put some make up to my face and made me more gorgeous.
On the quarantine round, I put my make up by my own self and it is something that an MC must have, a skill to make up their own self.
Okay, next to the quarantine round, I got some seminars from TVRI news anchors and the owner of Public Speaking School. She adviced all the women finalist to always using wedges or high heels while we are mc-ing something.
Quarantine done and the comittee announced who would come to the final, there will be only 10 participants who would come to the final. And, fortunately, I got that ticket to come to the final round.
On final round, I got the first number and watched by Mr. Fathur Rokhman, Rektor of Semarang State University. I was so proud at that time.
On the result session, finnaly I got the 2nd Runner Up. Alhamdulillah ;)

It is really important for an MC to decide what kind of words she/he will use during the event. When it is an informal, the mc should use the informal words, and when the mc has a formal event, the mc should use the formal words during the event.

How To Be A Good MC For Beginner

Well, becoming an MC is not an easy thing to do right? moreover if you are never do that before.
Actually, becoming an MC can be easier if you can know the tips and trick to make u success on it.
As an MC, here I will share to you how to be a confident and good MC as I did many times.

• Preparation. 

On this session, things that you should know is what event that you will have, is it formal or informal. It is very important to know because the event will decide what kind of words that you will use, what kind of fashion that you will wear also which audience that you will face. Try to know about rundown is important too, you have to knwo the details, because you will be the one who lead the event on the stage. After knowing the event, try to make a draft of all the agendas. The agendas will content about the composition of the events, also which people who will be on the event. After you done with your draft. Try to understand one by one to make you explore more and more. On the event, first thing you need to do before come to the stage is coorperate with the soundman, check the microphone is really important, Make sure that it can work well. Don't forget to list sponsors if there is any.

• Opening

On the opening, thing that really you need are braveness and confidence. Don't think you can't do that. Just be brave and do what your mind says and speak it to the world. You don't need to introduce your name okay :)

• During the event

On this session, you may be more relax because yeah, you passed the opening and come to the main event. Here, just enjoy yourself and try to explore and improve your words, that will make the audience interested and not feel bored to the event. Try to communicate with the audience will make you feel more confident and will reduce your nervous too.

• Closing

Well, yeah, on the closing you just need to make your word as interesting as you can. Don't forget to say thanks to the audience and also all the people who support the event.

Well guys, above are just the theory which I always do when I am mastering a ceremony. Don't forget to keep your smile nicely during the event. It will make you look amazing on stage and look confidence.
